----------

This gpe-image is based on to upcoming familiar-0.84. h6300 support is still in experimental stage,
especially following things does not work.
- flashing Linux to over wince to flash-partition
- suspend/resume/power button
- voice in gms is still not perfect to another direction
- gpe-apps using OSS instead of Alsa for sound does not work properly

To boot Linux on iPAQ h6300 you need to partition your MMC/SD card to two partitions.
(You will need to have MMC/SD card reader to perform that on your Linux desktop)

- First partition to fat32. Extract h6300_linux_bootloader.tar.bz2 to fat partition.
- Second partition to ext2. Extract h6300_gpe_image_rootfs.tar.bz2 to ext2 partition.

After that do following.
1) Make backup from your wince data by using backup/restore software
2) Hard reset wince and calibrate it
3) Turn on GSM phone in wince and enter pin-code (Our linux driver is not able to do this)
4) Boot to Linux by starting uboot_load.exe (You can configure it from the uboot.txt)
(Note this must be done in a couple of minutes after resetting wince, other boot will fail)
5) After calibraring screen in Linux and logging in, you can use "gomunicator" to test the phone calls.

For detailed information from the install process, please follow out instructions in

Fastest way to get support is to connect us in "h6300-port" irc channel at freenode.
